Installation was straightforward and required no special tools (other than a crescent wrench and long-shafted phillips screwdriver to install). The faucet looks beautiful and functions smoothly.Installation tips: (a) If installing in a three-hole sink, use plumber's putty to hold the baseplate down. (b) Water leaked (copiously) from the control buttons on the spray head, which at first I thought was a defect in the head.
